A Word about Next Weekend!
By Dr. Harold Duncan

I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for more than 30 years. It is a blessing and an honor for me to work with couples as they seek to connect and repair damaged relationships.

Two of the most influential people in my professional life are Drs. Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt, a husband/wife team who, for more than 40 years, have done therapy, research, writing and training in the field of interpersonal relationships.

When a “new couple” asks if I can help them with their marriage, I can say with great confidence, “Yes! I have information, experience and a communications strategy that absolutely works-if you have the will to learn it and work it.”

I have no doubt about that. It is the best, most thorough program I have ever seen.

The primary reason for my level of confidence is the “Safe Conversations” program developed by Drs. Hendrix and Hunt. It has been years in the making, and you have the opportunity to learn it and experience it first hand Saturday, February 13.

Harville and Helen will be leading a “Safe Conversations” seminar that is designed to help couples (and individuals) understand the fundamentals of how relationships work-and how they, sometimes, don’t. The seminar is also designed to guide people as they implement these principles into the most important relationships in their lives.

The charge? FFN: “Free for nothing,” as we say in Tennessee.

Materials, food and childcare are also provided at no charge! You can’t beat a deal like that! Hundreds of couples have already registered.

The primary location is Fair Park, but there are several satellite sites throughout the city, where Harville and Helen will be streamed live.

(One of these sites is next door to our counseling office: Prestoncrest Church of Christ. When you register, you can register for a specific location, if Fair Park is not the most convenient for you.)

Please go to the website listed below and register if you have not. You will learn some principles and develop some skills that you will to use for the rest of your life! It will be a very special day for everyone.
