A Word about Gratitude

“What do you say?”  I can still hear my parents voices prompting a “Thank you” from me as a child.  Probably, so can you.  That’s one of the things for which I am very grateful–parents who embodied and encouraged a spirit of gratitude and thankfulness!  Adults who reminded me regularly that the life I lived (then and now) is one overflowing with blessings.

As I have said ofttimes, this is one of my favorite seasons of the year! A lot of things contribute to that, but certainly the Thanksgiving holiday is one of the most powerful.

I recently came across an article, The 31 Benefits of Gratitude You Didn’t Know About: How Gratitude Can Change Your Life.

(You may click on the above image to access the article.)

Also, one of my Thanksgiving “traditions” is to encourage you to take 3 minutes and enjoy Mary Chapin Carpenter’s Thanksgiving Song.
