Harold D. Duncan, Ph.D., LPC-S, LMFT
Dr. Harold Duncan has been a psychotherapist in private practice since 1981. For 15 years, he was an Instructor in Psychology at the University of Texas at Dallas. For 10 years, he served as Behavioral Medicine Coordinator for the Baylor Family Practice Residency Program at Garland. He currently is an Adjunct Professor in the Counseling department at Southern Methodist University.
His office is located on Preston Road, one block south of LBJ Freeway (I-635) and is readily accessible to North Dallas, the Park Cities, Plano, Richardson, Garland and Mesquite.
In order to protect client confidentiality and treatment autonomy, Dr. Duncan’s office operates on a strict fee for service basis. At the time of your visit, you will be provided a detailed receipt designed to be submitted for insurance reimbursement, if you so choose.
Dr. Harold Duncan is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. His educational background includes the following:
- B.A., 1970 Abilene Christian University
- M.A., 1972 Harding University
- M.Ed., 1979 University of North Texas
- Ph.D., 1981 University of North Texas
Most of his professional time is spent as a private practice therapist, counseling with individuals, couples and families.
