DeWone Bennett’s life goal has always been to place himself in a position to help as many people as possible. The path most pressing on his heart has always been the mental health field. Growing up in California, DeWone experienced many adverse situations that prepared him mentally, physically and emotionally to be a conduit for change to those experiencing life’s troubles.
DeWone Bennett is a licensed professional counselor and counseling supervisor with more than 10 years of mental health practice and experience. DeWone has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and two master’s degrees; one from Langston University in rehabilitation counseling, another from Oklahoma State University in psychology. Presently, he is concluding work on his doctorate in clinical psychology from California Southern University. Over the past 10 years, Dewone has focused his interest of practice on those struggling with emotional trauma and relationship issues. As the owner of an outpatient community mental health practice in Oklahoma City, and now in the DFW area, DeWone continues to provide life altering behavioral health services and consultations.
