Harold D. Duncan, Ph.D., LPC-S, LMFT

Dr. Harold Duncan has been a psychotherapist in private practice since 1981. For 15 years, he was an Instructor in Psychology at the University of Texas at Dallas. For 10 years, he served as Behavioral Medicine Coordinator for the Baylor Family Practice Residency Program at Garland. For five years, he was an adjunct professor in the counseling department at Southern Methodist University.

His office is on Preston Road, one block south of LBJ Freeway (I-635), and is readily accessible to North Dallas, the Park Cities, Plano, Richardson, Garland, and Mesquite.

Dr. Harold Duncan is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. His educational background includes:

  • B.A., 1970 Abilene Christian University

  • M.Ed., 1979 University of North Texas
  • Ph.D., 1981 University of North Texas

He spends most of his professional time as a private practice therapist, counseling individuals, couples, and families.
